Bonfire Night!

I love bonfire night, it always feels like its the official start of winter and this was the first year that Freddie was old enough to understand it all which made this year extra special!

I'm pretty lucky that my dad always throws a big bonfire for our close friends and family as so many organised bonfires are having to stop due to health and safely expenses.

We lit sparklers, watched fireworks, sat by the fire toasting marshmallows whilst eating plenty of bonfire toffees and parkin.

If you're not from the UK and you don't know what the heck I'm going on about, basically it's a tradition that happens every year on November 5th. It all goes back to the early 1600's when a man named Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up parliament, luckily his plan failed and people lit bonfires to celebrate. So even today people still celebrate by lighting bonfires and fireworks!
